In honor of Election Day 2020, and as a means of keeping me grounded, I will spend the day posting about notebooks, pens, and the things I do with them.
Interspersed among those, I will be catching up on a range of other topics, none of which concern the election.
I promise to schedule the posts so they spread out over time and don’t become a blog storm for you.
A great month this month with SCRIBEDELIVERY. Zebra Midliners showed up just as my last highlighter was running low. And I have been waiting for an excuse to try the Uni Signo pens.
And Denik Notebooks? Just brilliant, a slightly more creative change from my long shelves of Moleskines.
Another interesting approach to journaling is Agenda Journaling, which to me is a hybrid between bullet journaling and scrapbooking. Hope Wallace Karney teaches an e-course on how to do this (those are her illustrations above, BTW.)
For those of you who think this is a “girlie” approach to journaling, hold off. I would not consider myself a scrapbooker, but I can see myself moving more in this direction in a couple of years when I shift a lifestyle that is somewhat less timesheet-driven (hint – see the countdown calendar on the sidebar of this blog.) I still catch ephemeris in my bullet journal, but not quite to this extent.
Inspiring. It helps makes the journals a lot more fun than just lists of actions and activities.
Inspiration is everywhere. Carry a notebook.
